INTRODUCTION

"Voice of the Voiceless" is a non-government, non-profitable and
non-political Group initially thought to work regardless of caste, creed, faith
and gender to promote target community by helping the deserving Christian homeless children in food, medication, clothing, school fee, uniform, books, etc in target areas.

"VOV" holds a variety of symbolic meanings depending on the viewer's
perspective. For VOV it is a movement for aggressive pursuit towards a bright tomorrow by promoting awareness, education and helping the deserved homeless poor people.
Others see it as agency acting on behalf of those who are seeking help. Still others view it as a partnership, characterized by a binding pledge among its members to strive for better tomorrow via personal growth and a Good Samaritan service.

So what is VOV? A bit of each? of course, absolutely something more. We are the struggle that never ends the unshaken vision of a committed few to those who are aggrieved or in need. Moreover, we are constantly reviewing,
accessing redirecting and refining our goals and methods.

Since 2001, the members of VOV worked in a non-formal shape for the
promotion of education by helping deserving homeless children in continuing their homeless conditions, providing food, clothes and medication. formal education, reported human rights violations, held workshops and gave initial knowledge about law and human rights education.

In January 2002, we decided to give a formal shape to our activities and
thus the platform of "Voice of the Voiceless" came into being.

Children around the Pakistan suffer appalling abuses. Too often, homeless children are killed or tortured by disease and sickness. Children are killed sometime because of not having food and medication. Children as young as seven or eight are recruited or kidnapped to serve as employs and servants for the houses and the factories. Sometimes as young as six years old, children are forced to work under extremely difficult conditions, often as bonded laborers or in forced prostitution. They are imprisoned in inhumane conditions.

Have we thought a life like this? Are we ignoring the deserved CHILDREN? Can we do something for their betterment?

Some day these children will not need any "Voice of the voiceless". They will be voice of their own selves.
